Ocean Universal is a dive store in Westcourt, Cairns, Far North Queensland. The store sells spearfishing gear, scuba diving equipment, and freediving products.
It used to trade as Spearfishing Superstore. They changed the name because the range grew beyond spearfishing alone. Spearfishing is still a major part of what they stock, but the store now also carries scuba regulators, BCDs, dive computers, freediving fins, wetsuits, stinger suits, masks, and snorkelling dive shop ocean universal gear.
The team's been at it for 25-odd years. They pick for FNQ conditions, so it suits on the Great Barrier Reef and the local dive sites.
